Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps Performance in Bahrain Q4 2021

In the fourth quarter of 2021, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Bahrain showed varied trends in downloads and active users across the top five apps. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers insights into the performance of these leading apps on a unified platform.

Uber - Request a ride saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 643 in late September and peaking at 908 in mid-December. The app maintained consistent growth throughout the quarter, ending with 719 downloads in the final week of December.

Careem – rides, food & more experienced fluctuating download numbers. Initially, downloads increased from 170 to 330 in early October but saw a dip to 151 in the week of December 20th. The app closed the quarter with 218 downloads in the last week of December.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver showed a relatively stable download trend. Starting at 169 downloads in late September, the app had slight fluctuations but remained consistent, closing the quarter with 147 downloads in the final week.

inDrive. Save on city rides had a mixed performance in terms of downloads. The app started with 146 downloads in late September, saw some variations, and ended the quarter with 138 downloads in the last week of December.

Ola: Book Cab, Auto, Bike Taxi had the lowest download numbers among the top five. The app began Q4 with 109 downloads and experienced a slight decline and recovery, finishing the quarter with 89 downloads in the final week.
